Ashley Poynton has always believed that surgeons as individuals could never provide the level of spinal assessment and treatment that is required for the broad spectrum of spinal conditions they deal with. However, together, with his expanding team they can now deliver a uniquely comprehensive and holistic approach to spine care in a state-of-the-art facility. Both have broad and deep knowledge of spinal pathology from highly complex surgical cases to the most challenging rehabilitation patients and everything in between.
Our philosophy is centred around the patient understanding the nature of the problem and building confidence in their own ability to recover.
The vast majority of spinal pain can be treated successfully by regaining movement, flexibility and strength, and building confidence in functional movement and exercise.
The best results in the management of spinal conditions is achieved through teamwork. We truly believe that the synergy between team members and the patient is vital for this. We also believe that patients are best assessed by a combination of skills that can only be provided in a multidisciplinary setting where experts in different areas work together to provide high level patient assessment and treatment.
